Classic Slayer albums to be reissued on vinyl!!!

Now this is just too damn cool – four classic Slayer platters will be reissued by Metal Blade Records on August 5, 2008 as special edition, blood-splattered, colored vinyl albums. Originally signed by Metal Blade back in the early days of the band's storied career, these first four Slayer discs consist of some of the band's most electrifying and dangerous work. Here's the 4-1-1 on the availabilities: 1983's Show No Mercy album will feature red vinyl with black splatters; the following year's Haunting The Chapel EP will sport clear vinyl with red splatters; 1985's Hell Awaits will be pressed on gold vinyl with red splatters; while the Live Undead album, from later in '85, will feature ultra-cool silver vinyl with red splatters. Watch for these sure-to-be coveted collector's items at an independent record store near you....
