Blackwinds to debut with Flesh Inferno

Blackwinds' skull-crushing Regain Records debut album, Flesh Inferno, is haunting your local record store's shelves right now, so what are you waiting for, bunkie?

Although Blackwinds, the band, is itself a fairly new phenomenon, they ain't no kittens, kiddies, but rather meat-eating carnivores with sharp teeth and claws. Blackwinds includes several members of the '90s-era black metal cult band Setherial, including guitarist Lord Mysteriis, razor-blade vocalist Lord Kraath, and powerhouse drummer Zathanel.

Blackwinds pursues a similar black metal tact as Setherial, a no-frills, unrelenting aural onslaught that mixes dark-hued terrorism with lyrical blasphemy. Then again, any band that describes their music as "the utter celebration of the death of all beings, the quintessence of the destroyer" can't be all bad, can they?
