Welcome to Trademark Of Quality!
Welcome to the Trademark Of Quality audioblog (TMQ for short). I am your host, the reverend of rock & roll, Rev. Keith A. Gordon. You may know me from such pseudo-popular blogs as Ryan Adams Sucks or The Other Side Of Nashville project blog, or even my old defunct political blog, Our Beloved Revolutionary Sweetheart.
What the world needs now is another audioblog, eh? Well, I promise that my righteous audioblog will be, uh...different...than just about anybody else's efforts. For one thing, the Reverend has spent a lifetime of nearly half a century amassing, compiling, collecting and hoarding a massive selection of audio goodies, from rare Japanese bootlegs to odd '60s psychedelic concept albums, from hardcore punk to Motown junk to, well, you name it. The mp3 files posted on this site will include some of the finest slabs o' sound from the Reverend's eclectic collection.
More than that, I'll also be using this space to comment on and review the flotsam and jetsam of pop and "alternative" culture...books, DVDs, comics, gadgets...whatever catches my attention and strokes my fancy. The Reverend has diverse tastes and many interests, from science-fiction and comics to pro wrestling, conspiracy theory, Japanese toys, outsider art, TV, technology, the media and much more. Musically, TMQ will reflect a wide range of genres, from rock and soul to punk and metal, from rap and blues to alternative country. I hope that you'll share in my enthusiasm and find something here that you like....
